The night of a big election soon ends in disappointment for four best friends during their junior year of college. However, their world turns upside down after one of the Nation's most famous celebrities gets murdered and causes discourse throughout the country. His death causes a domino effect which leads to the destruction of the United States of America and the creation of a fascist dictatorship known as Freedonia.
