It chronicles their move to Squamish, British Columbia in 1929 and the challenges of work and family life with the Pacific Great Eastern Railway during the Depression, World War II, and post war years.

Author Biography

Eric Stathers was born in England, grew up on a farm in Manitoba, and worked as Car Foreman and Superintendent of the Pacific Great Eastern Railway in Squamish, British Columbia from 1929 to 1965.
