CYNTHIA RYLANT is the author of more than a hundred books for young people, and her novel Missing May received the Newbery Medal. She lives in Lake Oswego, Oregon. ARTHUR HOWARD is the author and illustrator of five books, including When I Was Five, a Crayola Kids Best Book of the Year, Cosmo Zooms, and Hoodwinked. He lives in New York City.
