Mr. McSymphony(TM)'s music books were developed at the request of elementary school teachers after classroom presentations to over 250,000 children in the states of California, Washington and Oregon over a period of 19 years. The purpose of the presentations and books is to educate children to understand, and appreciate music. The books help children learn about symphony orchestra, various musical instruments, classical music, classical composers, jazz and opera.

Author Biography

The author, Stephen Battaglia, graduated with a Mechanical Engineering decree from Villanova University, an MBA from California State College at Los Angeles, and a Paralegal Degree from Rancho Santiago College in California. Before retiring in 1999, he was the owner of Battaglia Engineering Company, a manufacturer representative firm in Orange County, California. In the past, he has played the piano, the violin, and currently plays the harmonica.
