Momentary Afflictions is a collection of poems exploring suffering, grief, and prolonged seasons of darkness. The collection is rooted in Scripture, speaking honestly about life in a fallen world, while holding fast to the hope found in Christ. These poems challenge the misconception that deep suffering must be pushed through or explained away. Instead, they encourage the practice of biblical lament, giving voice to weary, aching souls.

Intentionally structured to mirror the Psalms, the collection opens with poems of lament, moves into poems of praise, then concludes with a section focused on the glory of God and our great Gospel hope.
