Roots of terrorism and various wars, including civil and partisan wars, are explained, based on social dynamics. War is bifurcation and constitutes an inseparable part of the evolution of a society. Causes of degradation in the army are explained. Degradation in the Israeli army that has developed in the past forty years, from the brilliant victory over armies of three Arab countries in the Six-Day War in 1967, till the disastrous defeat in the 2006 second Lebanese war, are taken as examples. Degradation in the army is shown to accompany degradation and division in society. Recruitment methods, as well as cohesion methods for the army are considered. Cases of using children in military actions are also described. Mistakes in using the army to perform police functions are noted. The use of repression is discussed.
