Author Biography

Michael Birt is a wildlife conservationist, educator, and author whose passion for nature began at a young age, where childhood curiosity sparked a lifelong calling. With 12 years of zookeeping experience and international wildlife education work in Africa, Indonesia, and Australia, he now leads ResearchWild as President and operates Michael the Wildlife Detective LLC and Village Life Coffee--ventures uniting conservation, education, and community impact. His real-life adventures inspire his Michael the Wildlife Detective mystery series. He currently lives in New Orleans, Louisiana with his wife and 11 pets.
