This is the first book in the Spike and the Gang Series about Epilepsy. This book introduces basic concepts of epilepsy. My goal with Spike and the Gang is to make Epilepsy less scary. Epilepsy is a very complicated topic that both parents and children often struggle to understand. The series addresses topics in epilepsy that families may struggle to understand. The series will take on difficult subjects as Epilepsy Syndromes and Epilepsy Surgery as well as the basics.

Each book is written with the goal of making children more comfortable talking about what is happening to them. I am hopeful these books will be used as teaching tools for family and friends.
