Alexandra Schaefer Karvala earned a Master of Fine Arts degree in photography at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She has been a professional photographer for 18 years. She lives with her husband, two young sons, cat and dog in Madison, Wisconsin. Jere M. Foley II earned his degree in linguistics at Lawrence University in Appleton, WI. He has been a writer, editor, actor and director for over twenty years. He lives with his partner and their feisty dog in Madison, Wisconsin.
