We are pleased to present a new, revised edition of the textbook intended for anyone interested in teaching and learning Romanian as a foreign language (RLS): teachers and students alike. As we announced in the previous edition, the material is intended for those who wish to teach or learn the structures of the Romanian language specific to the A1 and A2 levels of language proficiency, as defined by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), or, using traditional terminology, the "beginner" and "false beginner" levels . Some of you have likely already used it and have been able to form an opinion about the usefulness and effectiveness of the teaching approach we propose.
