Author Biography

Juan Gómez-Quiñones is a professor of history at UCLA. His earlier books include Mexican American Labor, 1790-1990, Roots of Chicano Politics, 1600-1940, and Chicano Politics: Reality and Promise, 1940-1990, all published by the University of New Mexico Press.
