The Book of the Sanctuary Shekel is a work of capital importance in Kabbalistic literature. Written in 1292 in Guadalajara by Moisés Shem Tov de León, presents us with a global vision of the system of the Sefirot and contains one of the most lucid syntheses of the kabbalistic thought. Our author, who has left a good number of texts, most of them unpublished, is mainly known for being attributed the wording of the Zohar.
