Author Biography

Carol Thompson is a Senior Lecturer in Teacher Education at the University of Bedfordshire and course leader for the Cert Ed/PGCE in post compulsory education. She has had more than 25 years′ experience of teaching and managing learning and is an active researcher within FE.

Lydia Spenceley is a lecturer at Grantham College and course leader for the Cert Ed/PGCE in post compulsory education and FdA in Special Education Needs and Disability. She has worked in various education settings specialising in Further Education and Training for the past 20 years and has a particular interest in inclusion and special needs education.
