Richard S. Hutchinson has continued his series of Lancaster County, Virginia, court orders with this volume on Book #13.

Book #13 covers the time period from 1729 through 1743. Because the court book contained so much information, these abstracts have been broken into two volumes. Volume 1 covers from 1729 through May 1737.

Previous abstracts of these court orders by other authors did not include any information on the persons of color and slaves who were mentioned in the court orders. Mr. Hutchinson has abstracted all information, including that of slaves and other persons of color.
