Author Biography

Jess GR is a writer of stories with morally grey protagonists who, although she has Portuguese roots and a Basque soul, fate decided she should fall hopelessly in love with Galicia, where she has lived for nearly two decades among octopus, rain, and longing. Since childhood she was fascinated by inventing stories, but it wasn't until 2018 that she decided it was time for her characters to conquer other hearts besides her own. Since then, her life has become a true literary festival with more than thirty published books, full of passion, humor, and drama, that make her readers sigh (and sometimes curse affectionately). What began as an innocent hobby ended up becoming an obsession. So much so that, after surviving the pandemic with more books than pounds of flour, she hung up her apron and left her job as a cook to devote herself fully to her other passion: writing romance stories. Currently, Jess lives devoted to the written word, always planning which story will next keep her readers up at night. Because if there's one thing she knows for sure, it's that there's no better recipe than writing with passion and a good dose of madness.
