Jon Batiste – Black Mozart Music CD

Jon Batiste has spent years arguing, through both advocacy and performance, that the boundaries drawn around "classical" music are more political than musical. With deep roots in the Batiste family dynasty of New Orleans and a classical piano training that runs alongside his work in jazz and R&B, he arrives at this project with genuine authority, not as a provocateur but as a natural heir to a tradition that was never as separate as the history books suggest.
