Author Biography

Derrick began writing 36 years ago and his love for writing began while listening to the lyrics of music. He is the founder of the Blu Sapphire company. Blu Sapphire focuses on visions that individuals experience during their lifetimes. His concept is to write poetry about relationships, social issues, and highlight the areas that influence our everyday lives. He also wants to tap into the consciousness of the individuals who shape our communities. In addition, Derrick expresses his feelings through art. Art adds visual images to his words. He is from Washington DC.
