by Leif Norgaard Gregersen (Author)

This is a book for young adults of around age 14-18, and those who are young at heart. This story is made for both males and females and tells about a young man who is having no end of trouble in life as a result of an absentee father and bullies at school. He is near the point of giving up and his mother and 'Big Brother' are worried about him and he gets sucked into a fight he didn't want. Somehow, a force in the Universe sees our hero for who he really can be, for the things he can do and when he is knocked unconscious in the middle of the schoolyard fight, something miraculous happens.

Author Biography

In The Blink of an Eye is my 10th published book, I have always wanted to be a writer from early on. Even before I could read my parents could make me happy by giving me blank paper to draw on and when I was still in elementary school I had my own typewriter and Dictionary and Thesaurus. As I got a little older I wanted to seek out adventure (sometimes thinking that if I wanted to be a writer I should have something interesting to write about) and I joined my local Air Cadet Squadron and went on bush camps, summer camps, survival training as well as doing some gliding and firing rifles. After I was finished grade 12, I had some difficulties in life and as a result, began to write to express myself and in a way to find something to do with my time as I was off work. To that end I ended up writing my first book, "Through The Withering Storm" which tells of my Air Cadet days and subsequent teen years and after that I just simply didn't stop writing. I am now 43 and happily live on my own, reading and writing as much as I can and traveling when I can put the money together. My next project is going to be a recovery manual for people with mental health issues and their families.
