Huddled in the Night Sky: Poems - Paperback

by Don Hogle (Author)

Huddled in the Night Sky navigates the desire for companionship and connection in all its euphoria, joyful rewards, tentative explorations, and inevitable loss and disappointment. From the first thrill of discovery on a Boy Scout camping trip and fantasized affairs with Elvis and Burt Reynolds, to a bittersweet memory on a porch in the Poconos, unexpected juxtapositions of memory, dreams, and unbridled imagination nuance and challenge the experiences. Ever present is the tension between the desire to be connected and the need to be true to oneself.

"Aren't we all just looking/for something?" Hogle asks, and he takes us with him fearlessly on the adventure.
