by Stephen Geiger (Author)

Can we trust that a collection of 66 books written by many different authors over a time period that spans many centuries is really God's message to us? Can we trust that the manuscripts we have today, based on scrolls copied by hand, are accurate? What about the translations? Can we have confidence in them? The answers have eternal consequences. Not one to step away from hard questions, in this insightful book, author Stephen Geiger invites you to explore the origins of the Biblical texts, the preservation of those texts, and the challenges of translating accurately the message originally expressed in ancient languages. After reading this book, you will have a much clearer picture of how the Bible we have today came to be. You will be well-equipped to answer those important questions for yourself and others.
