Helping kids learn that sexuality is a precious, God-given gift is a privilege and responsibility of parents. The best foundation is created over time through ongoing, age-appropriate conversations. Stan and Brenna Jones's four-book set for families helps introduce healthy dialogue, starting when your child is a toddler and continuing through their teen years. Now, these books have been organized into a four-book set for you to read together with your children.

  1. The Story of Me For ages 3-5, uses age-appropriate language and illustrations to explain the marvelous bodies we have.
  2. Before I Was Born For ages 5-8, lays a biblical foundation for conversations about reproduction and pregnancy.
  3. What's the Big Deal?: For ages 8-11, answers kids' questions about God, culture, and sex; and how to respond when faced with sexual pressure.
  4. Facing the Facts For ages 12-16, helps teens with the stressful transition to adulthood, what's happening with their bodies, and why God made them that way.
Now revised and updated with helpful material on sexual identity, dangers of pornography, and other worldviews on sex so you can start having meaningful dialogue with your children at each stage of their life.

To gain confidence and clarity in conversations, parents are encouraged to start with How and When to Tell Your Kids About Sex.

"The God's Design for Sex series will serve as both anchor and lighthouse to many parents who feel tossed by the waves of a rapidly changing culture."
