Author Biography

Laura Carroll was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. She is a real-estate attorney who enjoys fishing, painting, all things Mardi Gras, and family dinners with her husband and three young children. She is also the author of Rainbow Rodney, published by Pelican.

Herb Leonhard received a BFA in illustration from the Pacific Northwest College of Art. He is the illustrator of several other Pelican books, including The Cajun Fisherman and His Wife. Leonhard lives in Prosser, Washington.
