Gabriele Kärcher is a freelance writer and photographer. A lifelong horse lover, she first spent time in the American West in 1996 where she discovered the American Curly Horse on a Crow Indian Reservation. She now splits her time between Aichhalden, Germany and Pryor, Montana.
