Marie Stopes was a British paleobotanist and writer who made great strides in some women's rights and established the first birth control clinic in Britain. The Albanian-Indian Catholic nun known as Mother Teresa established Missionaries of Charity to help people who, in her own words, "feel unwanted, unloved, uncared for throughout society."
