Bonnie Demerjian writes from her island home in the Tongass National Rainforest, a unique and protected place that generates much of her writing. A former teacher and journalist, she turned to poetry to look deeper into nature, relationships, and the many puzzles and delights of the world. In addition to poetry, she has also written four non-fiction books about the human and natural histories of Southeast Alaska.
