During my lifetime, I have been fortunate to experience many joys from childhood to retirement and to witness many examples of ordinary people finding joy in their lives. My hope is that by chronicling joyful activities the readers will either reinforce the joy that they are experiencing in their lives or find additional ways to discover needed joy. The anecdotes in this book all have something in common; joy however gained is usually based on sharing a kindness. True joy is not selfish. They, also, demonstrate that personal joyfulness can leave our world better because we were in it. Cherish the joys in your life.
