This ingenious interactive book is both a story and a map. As the panels unfold, a winding path reveals itself, leading from a house all the way to a birthday party! Beyond helping the child get their bearings, the path encourages observation; it is packed with details and visual clues that invite the child to fill in the gaps of the story with their imagination. It is a book for playing and creating stories as the panels are folded and unfolded.

Author Biography

Kaori Takahashi es una ilustradora nacida en Okayama, Japón. En 2013, se graduó en Diseño Visual por la Universidad de Tsukuba, Japón. En la misma universidad, obtuvo su máster en Narrativa y Diseño Editorial en 2015. Desde entonces, trabaja en el estudio de diseño One Stroke, con sede en Tokio, fundado por el reconocido autor y diseñador gráfico Katsumi Komagata.

Kaori Takahashi is an illustrator born in Okayama, Japan. In 2013, she graduated in Visual Design from the University of Tsukuba, Japan. At the same University, Kaori completed her Masters in Story and Book's Shape in 2015. Since then, she has been working at Tokyo-based design studio One Stroke, founded by renowned author and graphic designer Katsumi Komagata.
