Lucy Cousins nacio en Gran Bretaña, Inglaterra, en 1964. Es autora de la exitosa serie Maisy. Estudió Diseño Gráfico en la Universidad de Canterbury, y entre los muchos reconocimientos de los que ha sido objeto se cuenta el Bologna Ragazzi de no ficción. ¡Ñam, ñam! figuró en la lista de los diez mejores libros infantiles de The New York Times y Pic, pic, pic, ¡qué divertido! ganó el Booktrust Best Book Awards.

Lucy Cousins was born in the United Kingdom, England, in 1964. She is the author of the bestselling Maisy series. She studied Graphic Design at the University of Canterbury, and among her many awards is the Bologna Ragazzi for nonfiction. Yum, Yum! was on The New York Times Top Ten Children's Books list, and Pic, Pic, Pic, What Fun! won the Booktrust Best Book Awards.
