Matt Schatz is the author of the plays and musicals Bobby Robotowitz, The Burdens, A Wicked Soul in Cherry Hill, and An Untitled New Play by Justin Timberlake, among others, as well as the poetry collection Shoes Last Longer in LA. He is the recipient of the Kleban Prize in Musical Theatre, the ASCAP Foundation Harold Arlen Award, the Edgerton New Play Award, and the Reva Shiner Comedy Award. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife and two daughters.
