by Anna Gutkina (Author)

Defusing the Cancer Bomb is a gritty and serious real life drama about a desperate woman who turns to an unknown immunotherapy vaccine in order to save her life and create a future for herself and her two young children. Diagnosed terminally ill, Anna endures cancer, a stroke, the strained relationships, and the trials of feeling discarded even by the very medical community supposed to help. With passion and unrelenting determination Anna turns to an alternative, flying to Russia with her own stem cells in her purse. She puts her faith into new science and a little-known life-saving Russian vaccine, but there are serious consequences, and obstacles along the way.

Author Biography

Anna Gutkina decided to document her story of finding her cure from stage four cancer with the help of dendritic cell vaccine - so that more people would have the same power of knowledge. Right when Anna was in the middle of her dendritic cell vaccine journey, the discovery of dendritic cells was awarded the Nobel Prize. She owes her life to many true friends and to several truly incredible scientists. She wants to give others the same knowledge and compassion that she received from the world. Being a scientist, Anna understands the value of the science behind her treatment; being an entrepreneur she wants more patients to have the same cure. She wrote the book to celebrate the science and the people behind it, and to whisper to those in need that this science is out there.
