These are the stories cops tell their families at the dinner table. The twelve stories in this collection describe the humorous aspects of the job, allowing kids to partake in a reading ride-along. The tales range from searching for criminals on top of a construction site to pulverizing a Christmas tree.

Author Biography

Suzanne Berube Rorhus attended the Squaw Valley Community of Writers workshop, served as the Derringer Awards coordinator for the Short Mystery Fiction Society, and is a member of Mystery Writers of America and International Thriller Writers. Her short fiction has appeared in Ellery Queen Mystery Magazine, the anthologies Memphis Noir and Moon Shot, and in various online and print publications. Bill Howe retired from the Battle Creek Police Department after a 26-year career. His last position was as a crime lab supervisor. He recently retired from his position as the investigator for the county prosecutor's team. He teaches criminal investigation at the local police academy.
