Inspiration for this book came to the author after years of visiting friends in the hospital with chronically ill children. God provided Susan a fictional story to help her contemplate and gain understanding of all that was happening in time and relating it to what was happening in eternity, outside of time. This story is a way to organize the concepts of time and eternity, life and death, and the knowledge that what seems real here is not the full picture of reality. Coupler releases us from the need to understand to embracing trust.
