by R. Jeffry Jenkins (Author)

Corrupt is the compelling fictional story inspired by real life events of the undercover corruption investigation of prison staff, uniformed and civilian, at one of Georgia's most notorious high security institutions. The investigation finds drugs, murder, sex, money and greed at the highest level of the Georgia Department of Corrections - involving employees both uniformed and civilian. Learn how Jeff Wiles survived two attempts on his life but continued his undercover work to expose the greed and corruption that existed. Read and experience each step in the process of building a large network of deadly inmate snitches. Learn first hand about the inmate culture of attempting to corrupt corrections officers called "Downing the Duck". The authors have taken literary license with selected incidents and dialogue.
