Author Biography
Julie Frey is a writer and artist in San Francisco, California. She holds a degree in Linguistics from Stanford University and is pursuing a graduate degree in Women & Gender Studies at San Francisco State University. She researches and writes about feminist art, gendered embodiment, and cultural expressions of activism and protest. She developed Color Me Woke as a creative project for a class on feminist social movements. Her first coloring book, Color Me Woke attempts to engage the reader/colorer in conversation about political and social justice issues.
