The next day the dancer and scientist Zalia announces that, according to her calculations, a cosmic circle has become closed.
Since the beginning of time, the universe has been expanding at a rate faster than light.
Zalia's equations show that we've crossed a barrier: we live in a new time, a new age.
The universe has spread and accelerated to a point where no new light from outer space will ever be able to reach us.
Nothing new will fall on the Earth ever again.
There will be no new information.
Science is ended. The stars above are fixed and forever lost.
If no other power (greater than yours) circled the Earth to shape your destiny, what would you want to change about your life? Why not begin your future, tonight?
