My brother-in-law married my sister before I was born, and they lived in the house just up the hill, beyond the fruit trees and garden, just up from our farmhouse. He wrote poems, and he played the harmonica, and he could make it sound like a train.He wrote funny poems about turkeys and taxes. He wrote poems of memories about how life used to be. He wrote about his faith and about heaven. He was a good husband to my sister and helped her plant her daffodils, especially after her Parkinson's diagnosis. He was a good man, his name was Simeon, and he was my brother-in-law!
