Blessed By God - Hardcover

by David Beresford (Author), Brookscraft Publishing (Editor)

This collection of original and warm hearted meditations draws the reader into an ever deeper understanding of God's presence in our lives. Through personal stories and theological reflections, Blessed by God examines the nature of faith and blessedness.

There are meditations on the secrets of growing old, the silent witness of ancient churches, the inspiring faith of the Queen of England, and the power of praise and prayer. Theological reflections address common themes: Does God exist? What does the Cross do? What is an icon?

This is a book rich in thought and experience. It will inspire both the seeker and the person of deep faith.

"What does it mean to be blessed by God? Those seeking answers will, I hope, find some of them in this book. God's blessings are freely bestowed on believer and non-believer alike. The art of the Christian life is to recognize them and live into them, giving thanks to God always for his providence and love."
