Blackthorne Academy: Year One - Paperback

by Zoe Dunn (Author)

Bechora has always lived life on the edge, surviving day by day as a twenty-three-year-old stripper, with no memories of her past before the foster homes she was placed in at age two. Her world is one of poverty and struggle, until a mysterious night changes everything. Taken from the club's parking lot, Bechora finds herself thrust into the enigmatic Blackthorne Academy, a school for the supernatural.

At Blackthorne, Bechora is initially classified as a fire mage, but it doesn't take long for her to realize her powers are unlike anything the academy has ever seen. As she navigates the perils and wonders of her new life, she forms deep, unexplainable connections with several intriguing individuals who seem to hold the keys to her destiny.

In a world where ancient powers are awakening, and dangerous secrets lie in wait, Bechora must uncover the truth about her origins and embrace a power that hasn't been seen in millennia. With her heart and the fate of the supernatural world hanging in the balance, Bechora's journey is just beginning.
