And through life's challenges, even on the days when ideas were thin, the birds were always there. Never a sign of weakness, but recovery. So I painted them. And I was saved. Bird Brain.

With just this one little bird, the intent was set. And so the next day, I painted another. Certainly amid all this uncertainty, I could paint a bird each day. I claimed every one as a victory, using my beautiful bird brain, and my big bird heart.
