Beneath the Sands - Hardcover

by J. Mardis (Author)

AN ANCIENT CURSE, A DESERT FULL OF SECRETS, AND A RACE TO KEEP THOSE SECRETS BURIED FOREVER.

When recent graduate Carrianne lands her dream job as the principal geologist for Blue Diamond Resources, she can practically hear her dwindling bank account breathe a sigh of relief ... and her Meemaw cheering from all the way in Greasy Creek, Kentucky.

Heading up a team of experts and locals-and a scruffy stray dog-she sets out to discover what lies beneath the sands of Egypt's uncharted Western Desert.

But the valuable discovery she unearths isn't the kind she learned about in any grad school textbook.

And she's not the only one in pursuit of it.

With a ruthless gang of bandits at her heels and rescue hours away, Carrianne must somehow protect both her team and a secret so big it could rewrite history ...

Or risk being buried along with them.
