From the author: At some time in our lives, issues surface that we never dreamed could touch us or our loved ones. This book is for anyone who has suffered such a loss. Especially, this book is for those for whom deliverance has not come, and for those who live with or otherwise minister to such individuals. This book chronicles my battle with lupus, meningitis, and chronic illness. It explores the nature of the illness itself as well as the physical, emotional, and spiritual struggles I faced along the way. It is written as a guide to help others who face similar situations.

Author Biography

Jennie Martin earned her M.S. in Counseling Psychology, in addition to her B.A. in speech and psychology. She is currently a Licensed Professional Counselor working with individuals, couples and families. After suffering renal failure due to systemic lupus, Jennie received a kidney transplant from her brother. She is now cancer free, after surviving major surgery for stage three cancer and its previous recurrences. She and her husband make their home in Farmington, Arkansas where they are active in their local church.
