Author Biography

One of the foremost political scientists of his generation, Alfred de Grazia was born in Chicago and studied at University of Chicago. He taught at University of Chicago, University of Minnesota, Brown University, Stanford University, New York University. He published over thirty books in the field of political science and some thirty more in other fields, like philosophy, natural history and poetry. He founded the field of Quantavolution - the study of abrupt, large scale changes in nature and history. Now in his nineties, and active as ever, he spends his years between France and Greece with his wife, a French author.
