About the Author: Robert Hilliard has written on sports, history, and the outdoors for nearly two decades. Formerly a contributing editor with Ohio Valley Outdoors magazine, where he created the popular column "In the Public Domain," Rob has written numerous magazine features and was a contributing author for the 2000 book Rivers of Destiny.
