It is also an invitation to be in the intimate and honest presence of dying, death, grief and return to the Beloved. Perhaps reading this book might heal a tiny bit of the pain. If it does all this, I did what I set out to do.

Author Biography

Jai Lev's first literary attempt, in seventh grade, promptly resulted in his suspension from school for a week. Having assessed the freedom from schoolwork as a result of his writing, Jai Lev embarked on a life long literary career. He is the author of two books of children's literature, Tales for a Child's Heart and Dreams of Cloud Dancing. Tales was voted the best book read by a third grade class in a Los Angeles school district and Jai Lev was the guest of honor when the students performed the story. He has been a newspaper columnist for several weeklies and was the guest editor of the Santa Cruz Sentinel for many years. The Underwood his father used to type countless "letters to the editor" sits on Jai Lev's desk as a reminder that words can take us to the mountain top.
