Author Biography

Gerald Harding Gunn was born in Atlanta, Georgia. He is a career broadcast and website journalist. He is the proud father of two daughters, Olivia and Sarah. He currently resides in Gainesville, Georgia. Gerald is an avid Civil War buff. His interest in the Civil War grew from a visit to the Cyclorama at the age of seven. He has participated in living histories and reenactments off and on since he was fifteen. His main focus is on the Atlanta Campaign which is the setting for his book, "A Rose for William Carter." Jerry, as he prefers to be called, is also co-author of the novel "Ghosts of Kennesaw Mountain" along with Lois Helmers.
