Author Biography

Michael W. Coffey is a research historian for the North Carolina Department of Natural and Cultural Resources. A native of Hickory, North Carolina, he received a Ph.D. in history from the University of Southern Mississippi. He previously co-edited volumes 16 through 21 of the North Carolina Troops series.
