Co-Producer of the award winning documentary, Bon: Mustang to Menri, Rose made several trips to Menri Monastery and Za Mongyal Monastery in Northern India between 2005 and 2011. It was at Za Mongyal, over chai and biscuits, that Rose had the conversation with Lama Tinley that is the foundation for The Gatekeeper, her first book in a series of short novels about people around the world who have held true to their dreams and their vows under all kinds of conditions. The Gatekeeper remains true to Lama Tinley's style of speaking and the details of his life are the bones of the story, fleshed out with information from Rose's research and her time with other Bon monks and Geshes. Rose offers trainings and retreats in dreamwork, creating sanctuary, compassionate end-of-life care and restorative justice around the globe. You can contact Rose at redroses522@hotmail.com.
