She is also Stephen's mother. Throughout Stephen's growing up, she worked in academic medicine, attaining the rank of Associate Professor of Psychology, Department of Psychiatry. She is currently Associate Clinical Professor in the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. Dr. Timmons-Mitchell launched a private practice, Junction Psychological Services Corporation, in 2000. She has been awarded grants and contracts (federal, state, local, foundation) and authored publications on topics including juvenile justice, suicide prevention, and bullying, serving as a reviewer for both granting agencies and journals. Dr. Timmons-Mitchell writes a blog for \u003ci\u003ePsychology Today\u003c\/i\u003e. For 35 years, she sang in the Cleveland Orchestra Chorus. Jane and her husband, Bob, live in Cleveland Heights, Ohio.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003eStephen Mitchell\u003c\/b\u003e is a mechanical engineer for a major multinational aerospace company.
