Many autism moms give up their careers to care for their children, but Gayle was a determined professional woman, and her arrangements with Jonathan allowed her to continue working. She also refused to give up one of her favourite sports - sex. This book frankly (and with an earthy sense of humour) illustrates how autism parents can continue to enjoy passionate, monogamous physical love - and it also explains how to provide sex education for autistic girls (who can easily be taken advantage of).
