Mozart's 1773 work is a motet consisting of four sections: Exsultate, jubilate (Allegro, F Major), Fulget amica dies (Secco Recitative), Tu virginum corona (Andante, A Major) and Alleluja (Molto allegro, F Major). It has become one of the most popular works for sopranos and mezzo-sopranos, notably the finale (Alleluja) and is frequently a major study work at conservatoires and universities.
